Travesty, or Dangerous Ground
And so it came to pass that the eldest son of Abraham, who was not his only son, built for the people of God a house. And in the house, the people of God multiplied until there were too many to be contained therein and they left the house and spread to all the corners of that land, and with them they each took a piece of the foundations of that house. And in their new homes they set up those chunks of foundation and with time grew to worship them as Gods themselves. And once, the keeper of the House of the World left his post and went out to one of these towns, and there he saw the people on their knees before an idol, fashioned from a piece of foundation. And he said to them "What do you do?" and they said to him "This brings the rain and victory over our enemies."
So he took an idol and set it up in the forecourt of the House of the World and the people came there and worshiped it.
